24-Hour Mining Cycle
AETHERsphere uses a platform-based 24-hour mining cycle. The user manually activates a cycle and the system calculates mining rewards according to the applicable rate.
Base Mining Rate
The current base design uses a starting mining rate of 1 ASC per hour for eligible active cycles.
Node Mining Rates
- No active node: 1 ASC/hour
- 1 active node: 2 ASC/hour
- 2 active nodes: 3 ASC/hour
- 3 active nodes: 6 ASC/hour
Increase Your Mining Potential
Users can grow their ASC participation through unlimited referrals. Referrals do not directly change the user's base hourly mining rate; referral rewards are calculated separately under the applicable referral program.
The hourly mining rate increases through active nodes. A user can activate a maximum of 3 nodes: No Node — 1 ASC/hour, 1 Node — 2 ASC/hour, 2 Nodes — 3 ASC/hour, and 3 Nodes — 6 ASC/hour.
There is no fixed limit on how many users an account may refer, subject to platform security controls against duplicate or abnormal automated registrations.
Cycle Rate Snapshot
The mining rate is determined when a new mining cycle starts. A node activated during an existing cycle is intended to affect the next fresh cycle.
